Leo Vincent Kane, 79, of Covington, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 1979 at the Covington Manor Nursing Center. He had been ill several years.
Kane retired from RCA in Indianapolis in 1967. He formerly resided in Chicago and Indianapolis.
Born March 7, 1900 in Danville, he was a son of John Francis and Frances Elizabeth O’Reilley Kane. He married Edith Clawson in Chicago in 1931. She survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marie Tyler of Brentwood, Ohio; and two nieces, Mrs. Patricia Perrin of Cincinnati and Mrs. Mary Sumila of Danville.
A brother preceded him in death.
Services were held Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Grover Williams officiated with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. – thanks to S
